Cookie Policy.

Information notice on the use of cookies and similar technologies pursuant to the Italian Data Protection Authority's Order of 10 June 2021 and Directive 2002/58/EC. Last updated: 27 May 2026.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the websites visited send to the user's device, where they are stored and then resent to the same sites on the next visit. They may be installed by the website being visited (first-party cookies) or by different sites (third-party cookies). In addition to cookies, there are similar technologies with analogous functions (web storage, pixels, technical fingerprints) whose use is considered equivalent to cookies under this policy.

2. Technical cookies (always active)

This site uses technical cookies strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the site and for the provision of the service expressly requested by the user. Such cookies do not require consent pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Order of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021.

  • Session cookies — generated by the development framework (Next.js) for technical navigation management. Deleted when the browser is closed.
  • Security cookies — used to protect forms from automated submissions and CSRF attacks. Duration: session.
  • Infrastructure cookies — potentially set by the hosting provider (Netlify) for content delivery via CDN and platform security. Variable but limited duration.
  • Cookie consent storage — the site saves the choice expressed via the consent banner in the browser's local storage (key cucchetti-cookie-consent-v1), to avoid re-presenting the banner on every visit. Duration: persistent until revocation or manual clearing of browser data. This is a technology similar to technical cookies, intended solely to give effect to the user's consent.

3. Third-party analytical cookies (subject to consent)

Only with the user's explicit consent collected through the banner does this site install third-party analytical cookies attributable to Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The purpose is to measure site traffic in aggregate form, in order to evaluate page performance and improve content. No profiling, behavioural marketing or retargeting activities are performed.

Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) of EU Regulation 2016/679 and Art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003). Consent can be withdrawn at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.

Extra-EU transfer: the browsing data collected may be transferred to the United States to Google LLC. The transfer takes place on the basis of Google's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023) and, as a fallback, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Cookies set by Google Analytics 4:

  • _ga — identifies distinct users in pseudonymised form. Duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_<property-ID> — maintains GA4 session state. Duration: 2 years.

In addition to the revocation button on this page, GA can be disabled by installing the browser add-on provided by Google at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For further information, please refer to the Google privacy policy.

4. Embedded third-party content

The Contact page embeds a map provided by OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom) via iframe. OpenStreetMap does not use tracking or profiling cookies; however, connection data (e.g. IP address) may be collected for security and service operation purposes. For more information, please refer to the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.

The site also hosts static resources (background videos) served directly from our domain: such resources do not set cookies.

5. How to disable cookies

The user may configure their browser to accept, reject or receive notifications when a cookie is set. Please note, however, that disabling technical cookies may impair proper use of the site. Below are links to the official guides of the most common browsers:
